The G Kurd 8 Mini is an excellent choice for anyone wanting to get started with the handpan. This scale is exceptionally melodic and versatile – ideal for both relaxing, flowing melodies and more rhythmic improvisations. The G Kurd scale has a natural sound and is intuitive to play, whilst the 8-note layout makes playing even more accessible for complete beginners.
If you’ve never played before, this compact handpan is the ideal place to start.
Its small size makes it easy to carry, and the note layout is easy to grasp and incredibly inspiring right from your very first attempts.
Sew Handpan is an Italian brand specialising in handcrafted handpans of a high standard of tuning and quality. The Mini range offers compact, lightweight and portable handpans, without compromising on sound quality. Designed with beginners, children and travelling musicians in mind, these models combine an intuitive note layout, a clear tone and a sturdy construction.
It is recommended to apply 1-2 drops of oil (olive, coconut or machine) every 1-2 months or at higher humidity. This keeps the metal and its sound fresh and crystalline.

Your parcel will be carefully sent by courier to all parts of Bulgaria as all handpans have free shipping. If you happen to be in Sofia, you can come to our showroom and pick up the instrument you want on the spot – just make sure you’re in advance. book an appointment to have someone meet you ;)
In the box, you will find a care kit – oil and a microfiber cloth. You can use them before your handpan flies off to a damp or wet area. Simply use a few drops to lubricate the instrument. It is also a good idea to do this preventively every few months to keep your handpan in good condition.
